TOCUMEN International Airport (Airport Code: PTY) in Panama City, has just completed a $90 million renovation and expansion and is considered the most modern airport in the region. Tocumen is also considered a regional hub airport, and Panama?s national carrier, Copa Airlines, connects to over 40 destinations in 21 countries in North, Central and South America.

South of the City of Panama there is a group of 200 islands called the Archipelago of Pearls, a site of great touristic potential for the country.
