No age restrictions, No Life Insurance requirements, refinancing available, 30 year loan terms with 5 years fixed and a 3 year “soft” pre-payment penalty. Loans can be processed from a “Quick App- Short form” in a matter of minutes and closed within 30 – 40 days.

Buyers can Pre-Qualify before coming to Panama and know in advance their approved budget for investing in Panama’s Booming Real Estate market.

ThinkPanama.com has been searching for months to provide this Financing solution for U.S., Canadian and European foreign investors wanting to Invest in Panama. The local banks in Panama are not “consumer friendly”. They just do not understand the financial needs of investors, so we researched out Sean DePasquale and Michael Thompson, two experienced veteran professionals from that are U.S. based in St. Pete, Florida, and Orlando, Florida, and ready to provide a real service to foreign investors in Panama. These mortgage loans are U.S. based and stem primarily from Independent capital sources. The process if Quicker, Expedite, and Customer Service oriented.

As with any process you do have to have proof of your source of income, and credit worthiness however the requirements are “consumer friendly”. No FECI surcharges and taxes apply like with Panamanian originating mortgage loans. Both Sean Depasquale and Michael Thompson are available at the monthly ThinkPanama Investor workshops and Provide ON THE SPOT APPROVALS for Financing.

It has been a busy time since wrapping up our successful workshop with following up on all the suggestions from the round table. Never-the-less it is time to congratulate the attendees, presenters and the 5 star service that the Bristol is noted for.

High interest in real estate investment education has helped Donald Trump become the highest paid speaker in the world, earning $1.5 million for every one hour appearance at real estate conferences. In Panama there is no exception real estate investment education is in demand as we noted from our workshop attendance.

Real estate investing is, and most likely will always be the number one preferred choice investment mechanism. When one invests in stocks you receive certificates, only real estate investment offers something more tangible. Lets face it when you look at the property that you just purchased you get a warm fuzzy feeling that a paper stock certificate just doesn’t impart.

Everyone at the workshop left with something I know I did. Our round table heard from our knowledgeable speakers that discussed a variety of topics that are/should be of importance to a real estate investor. The talks covered a broad range of advice from financing, title insurance, escrow services, investment properties. What really was interesting though was conversation around the table after the presentations where through.

We Realtors should spend more time listening to what real estate investors care about. Their was this concern that all had and that was mortgage financing for foreigners. Panama banks offering mortgages require 30% down, life insurance and have a $1500/mt2 dollar cap on condos. ThinkPanama, starting tomorrow are going to be covering solutions for this quandary.

ThinkPanama unveiled their new “Friends and Family Referral Program” for a sneak peak for the attendees. This referral program is not like any other in fact this is the first in Panama and we will be rolling that out in the coming weeks. You too can be an early adopter and make cash! Just signup for this blog and you will be notified when this ramps up.
