"No property tax for 20 years," The Panamanian Government announced on Friday, 21st December, the reinstatement of the 20 year Tax exoneration on all properties whose construction permits are issued by December 31st, 2009; giving an additional boost to an already robust real estate market. High life? What is the 'high life', exactly? What do you envisage when someone uses this term? Between you and me, it's hard to find a good school in Panama. It's possible, but it's hard. The education system, from the curriculum down to teacher training, remains one of the largest faults of Panamanian life. I'm speaking of public schools, as well as private. To be honest, I doubt there's any foreigner who's moved to Panama and put their children in a public school. They are simply too third world.
Whether simply traveling, or seriously looking to settle down in Panama, health care is something you are sure to be concerned about. You needn't worry.
